OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTIONG EDUCATOR
 

The Outstanding Accounting Educator Award recognizes Texas accounting educators who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and have distinguished themselves through active service to the accounting profession. The awards give profession-wide recognition to the recipients along with promoting role models in academe.

One Outstanding Accounting Educator Award may be awarded in each category (community college, small, medium, and large university or college). Awards will not be given in categories where judges determine that the entries do not merit them.

The Outstanding Accounting Educator Awards are funded by the Accounitng Education Foundation to honor those with a history of excellence in education. Recipients will receive a $500 award and be recognized at the Annual Meeting Awards Luncheon June 28, 2024 in Frisco, TX. 

Nominations for the annual awards may be submitted by Texas colleges, universities, community colleges, TXCPA chapters and members.

  • Nominee must be a full-time accounting educator at a Texas college, university or community college, where for three of the last five years the educator’s primary responsibility has been teaching in the classroom.
  • Nominee is not required to be a licensed CPA.
