Miller Family Award for Two-Year Accounting Teaching Excellence
The Miller Family Award for Two-Year Accounting Teaching Excellence recognizes exceptional accounting educators who are making a lasting impact on students at community and two-year colleges across the United States
Established by Dr. Tracie Miller, CPA in honor of her parents, Kipp and Sylvia Miller, to recognize outstanding educators and celebrate a lifelong commitment to community and service, this Award supports excellence in teaching and meaningful engagement in the two year accounting educator community.
Award recipients receive $5,000 for conference registration, travel, and lodging so the recipient can attend and present at the 2027 TACTYC Conference, May 20–22 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be actively teaching accounting at a U.S.-based two-year or associate-degree granting institution.
- Have a minimum of three years of teaching experience.
- Be a current TACTYC member.
- Not be teaching solely in a baccalaureate or graduate program.
