Help TXCPA recognize the professional accomplishments of CPAs in business and industry (B&I). Our B&I CPAs are employed by companies, large and small, in a myriad of industries. They might be a CEO or a CFO, an entrepreneur or staff for an accounting department. Many professionals spend their careers in oil and gas, finance, manufacturing, education, healthcare, retail or real estate—most any and every kind of enterprise in Texas.

In an effort to honor CPAs who work in B&I and have made significant contributions through their influence and impact on others in the accounting profession, TXCPA is accepting nominations for the B&I Award. Members in B&I are recognized as those who work in general industry, government or education. Selections will be made by members of TXCPA's Business and Industry Issues Subcommittee of the Membershp Committee. Members of the subcommittee are not eligible to receive the award while they are serving on the committee.

Award winners will be recognized during B&I Month in April 2022 and during the Awards Luncheon at the Annual Meeting July 1-2, 2022 in Round Rock, TX. 

Please take a few minutes to nominate a B&I member. Provide as much information as you know.

Nomination Criteria:

• Must be a CPA
• Must be a TXCPA member in good standing
• Must be employed in business and industry
• Must be nominated by December 31, 2021 to be considered
